Prescription Collection   As from Monday 22nd January, prescriptions will only be able to be collected from the surgery after 10am until 6pm. This is to reduce patient waiting time. We have also introduced a designated reception area for collection of prescriptions which is sign posted. Thank you

Heartbeat's Cardiac rehabilitation service provides you with the information, exercise and advice you need to get back on your feet again after having heart problems.

They will also support you if you are at risk of vascular problems in the future, have diabetes, have had a stroke or suffer from COPD.

Phone system

As you may be aware we have installed a new phone system. This is to enable us to deal with incoming calls more effectively. Calls will be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Practice News

We are delighted to welcome patients from St Pauls Surgery. With the retirement fo DR Kumar, St Pauls Surgery has merged with St Walburge's within Issa Medical Centre.

Patients now have the opportunity to access a wider range of clinicians and services here at Issa Medical Group. We do endeavour to offer appointments as quickly as possible and you may find that if you do not need to see a GP you are offered and appointment with one of our wider clinical team who include Advanced Prescribing Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice nurses and Healthcare Assistant who are all very experienced and can provide the appropriate advice and support.

Patient Information

The surgery can offer access to bookable appointments up to 8pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday and Sunday AM.

Please be advised that availability is limited and will be by pre-booked appointment only. Access may not always be provided at this surgery and you may need to travel to an alternative practice.

These appointments will not be available to book on line - therefore please speak to a member of our reception staff for further advice
